Wednesday, 05 October 2016

Trick Flow Specialties has done it again! For the last five years, they have built an engine to be given to the International Hot Rod Association’s (IHRA) Summit SuperSeries Top Class Champion as part of their prize package. This year, it’s a 572 cubic inch big-block Chevrolet engine that’s based around a Dart M engine block.

This year’s build features components from Trick Flow, Holley, Earl’s, Jesel, Crower, Wiseco, Clevite, Meziere, MSD, ARP, ATI and House of Payne.   The entire build is from parts customers can purchase straight out Summit Racing Equipment’s catalog.

Trick Flow Specialties recently placed the newly built engine on the dyno and it produced an impressive 1071 horsepower at 7500 RPM’s and 780 feet of torque at 6300 RPM. Click here to take a look at the dyno video – http://tinyurl.com/TrickFlowDyno

The 572 Big Block Chevy is currently being fitted between the American Race Cars frame in preparation for delivery to the Summit World Finals in Memphis. The IHRA Summit SuperSeries Top Champion will be crowned during the weekend of October 20 – 22, 2016.
